Berry Bliss Smoothie with Almonds Recipe
This smoothie is the best start for your day, it is a cocktail of goodness that helps the body prepare for the day ahead.
Pomegranates, strawberries and blueberries are high in vitamin c which helps to heal wounds, folic acid which is essential for forming DNA, vitamin K which regulates the clotting of the blood and antioxidants which help prevent cell damage.
The Almond pulp is rich in vitamin E and is high in fibre.
In other words this is super food smoothie so why not start the day super.
Yield: 750 ml
- 50 grams blueberries
- 250 grams hulled strawberries
- 50 grams pomegranate seeds
- ¼ cup almond pulp
- 1 tablespoon agave syrup
- 1 cup cold water
- Place all the ingredients in a powerful blender for 1 minute. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
- Any other sweetener can be substituted for the agave syrup.
